The urban space which we dwell and move through daily is not just a human domain - it hosts a multiplicity of situations, structures and non-human protagonists with whom we are in constant dialogue. What if we invite these scenes and entities to guide our perception, steps and actions? The workshop will start online and then all participants will simultaneously follow the same score to sensorially map the immediate environment outdoors – individually and yet collectively. To do so, we use a toolbox that we all bring – our sensorial body offers all the means we need in order to allow this playful and experimental walk to unfold.
Mira Hirtz is a performance artist and art mediator who bases her work on somatic practices, exploring the value of creativity for human beings and ecologies.
